A thoughtful approach

Your information stays yours

Understand what the tools use, what can be saved, and how to clear it.

Core tools run in your browser.

The planner, calculator, résumé builder, résumé comparison, cover-letter builder, career explorer, interview practice, message workshop, and application tracker use information you enter to provide their results. Core calculations and guided drafts do not send those entries to an AI service or an employer.

Saving is optional and device-specific.

Where a tool offers saving, you choose whether to store its information in this browser’s local storage. This is not a cloud account or encrypted vault. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see saved entries. Private browsing, browser cleanup, or changing devices can remove or hide that information.

Only save on a device and browser profile you control. Export important work if you want your own backup. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them.

Backups and calendar files.

In your workspace, you can download a backup of supported data that you chose to save in this browser, then manually restore it on another device. The backup is an unencrypted file and may contain contact details, résumé text, application notes, and plans. Keep it private. Unsaved forms are not included. Importing a backup reads it in your browser; the site does not upload it.

The tracker can download calendar files. If you import one into a calendar service, that service receives the event details and applies its own privacy settings and reminder behavior. The site does not send reminders or access your calendar. A résumé snapshot kept with an application remains part of that application until you change or remove it; deleting the original résumé version does not delete the snapshot.

Your entries stay in the tool.

There is no live AI connection or server-side processing of your résumé, practice answers, budget, or application entries. The tools do not upload those entries. The resource navigator loads a directory file from this website and opens official websites only when you choose their links.

Avoid entering Social Security numbers, account numbers, medical records, or confidential employer information. The tools do not need those details. Check downloads before sharing them with anyone.

Website hosting and external links.

The hosting platform receives ordinary web requests and may use access or security logs. Private review hosting can require ChatGPT sign-in; that platform’s account and privacy policies apply. This site’s core tools do not require a separate account. External websites have their own privacy practices. No advertising trackers, analytics scripts, marketing forms, or nonessential cookies are included in this edition.

Clear saved tool data.

This removes locally saved data belonging to Unemployed.ai tools in this browser. It does not delete downloaded files or information you submitted to external services.

Policy status.

Prepared October 24, 2026 for this review edition. Before public launch, the operator should confirm this policy matches the selected host and provide an appropriate privacy contact.
